A co-founder of No Kidding Press Publishing house and Write Like a Grrrl courses, writer and editor Svetlana Lukyanova will hold a lecture about creation of underground comics and a place for queer artist in them
She will talk about Gay Comics, Alison Bechdel, and other iconic comics and names. She will show us how queer comics were studying topics of sex and relationships, sexism and homophobia, and generally — life in our world.
Guests of the lecture will get introduced to iconic comics and comics artists. They will see how loud and clear the voices of underground artists can be.
